eLearning on an iPhone may be diffucult do to the screen size. There is also not much available for the iPhone beyond the manufacure installed software, podcasts and what can be accessed on the internet. However there may be more to come and eLearning developers may tap in to this. Recently Apple, the creator of the of the iPhone, released the iPhone developer program and SDK(Software development kit). This will open up the iPhone to developers and the number of software titles available for the device should increase. Developers will be able to take advantage of this and make eLearning tools specifically for the iPhone. This should increase the usability of the iPhone as a eLearning tool.
